Without the aid of telescope, DSLR or any other equipment, the Nikon Coolpix 900 and 1000 allows photographers to capture the details of the Moon in detail. The camera is a non DSLR and the lens cannot be detached. Despite these limitations, the telescopic lens allows one to capture the fine details of the Moon's craters and Mare. The waxing Gibbous Moon captured here yesterday is a testimony to this statement. The moon was photographed yesterday night here in Singapore at 8 pm.
