The high altitude clouds containing hexagonal ice crystals finally cleared out.
A new active region has emerged on the Sun's Eastern limb. Thru H-α it is very visible. You can see it as whitish "plage" thru a standard solar filter. This may create a sunspot or two, so don't put your solar scopes away yet!
