It was around 8 pm on 24/9 that I expecting the full moon, at around 99.8%, to rise above the horizon. I was in the car park of a supermarket, pretty high up and with clear view of the horizon. Alas, the clouds were there too. I took quite a few photos but the three that I am sharing now are quite interesting. One of the landing paths to Heathrow Airport for aeroplanes was between me and the rising full moon. See the three photos and the plane which looks like flying into the moon.
