I saw this unusual sight four nights ago and grabbed my Apple XR to take 5 photos. Then just now I found your site and info on moon halos after asking Google. And three nights later we did have a rainstorm pass through and a news flash about possible flash floods, just as your article says moon halos usually mean rain. Very good to know, thanks EarthSky!
