I am surprised that this came out good for a hand held image with a heavy lens such as the 300mm 2.8. I had to take a few shots with multiple exposures quickly before it descended further behind trees. If you look carefully you can see the entire moon, which adds to the already dramatic scene created by the moon and the clouds.
