M22 is #10 on my list of favorite binocular targets. But it is my favorite globular cluster for binoculars and small scopes! It's bright and nicely condensed, and the 2 groups of sentinal stars guarding it offer an exceptional view. M22 is very easy to locate. It's in the same binocular field of view as lambda SGR, the star at the top of the Teapot.
