Sunrise on a far-away coconut tree.
I'm testing out my new $100 mirror lens (catadioptric, like a Mak-Cas scope). So far I'm astonished at the results for such an inexpensive lens! The edge-to-edge sharpness and color rendition is amazing. No chromatic aberrations. The lens has an old-school M42 screw mount so it will fit on any camera that has a T-adapter.
With my APS-C crop factor, the effective focal length is 800mm, giving
an approx magnification of 16X.
What a deal!
