A very frustrating evening trying to capture some meteors. We live in a semi-arid region that usually has periods of drought and threats of wild fires. This year, however, we have had frequent rain and cloudy skies. Today my local area, with all its terrible light pollution, was the only one with clear skies! I tried three different sites and this one at the Visitor Center at Mueller State Park was the best available. I'm thankful I did capture two colorful meteors, along with the ubiquitous air ships. I had to work hard to tone down the trees which were garishly overexposed by the hideously bright and red tinted lights at the Visitor Center...
