The moon in the waxing gibbous phase tonight and 72% illuminated. The image was taken from Nikon P900 camera at about 8.30 pm today. The craters and mare were clearly visible with the dark clear skies tonight. The moon was looking awesome and will be crossing planet Jupiter over the next few days followed by the partial lunar eclipse on 17 July 2019.
