Local Astronomy Club with the County Park System organized 'Starry night' tonight on July 9th, when Saturn was nearest to us. Good Samaritans volunteered their telescopes and time to the community.
It was just before sunset. I captured this image through the telescope eye on my cellphone...clear and real, that which I do not do with my camera, as much, yet.
It was a starry evening well spent with wonder in eyes.
The volunteers showed and talked about Jupiter and Saturn. It was great watching Jupiter's Moons and Saturn's rings though these humungus telescopes.
