Last evening, I found a brief gap in the clouds to get a quick glimpse of the moon. It was a short but lovely sighting after many rainy days here on the prairies. I have labelled a few of my favourite features on the 46.2% illuminated face of the moon. I also included the approximate location of Apollo 11's landing site in anticipation of the mission's 50th anniversary.
