The late day sunsets at this time of year in the Hudson Valley can be quite spectacular, particularly at that moment when the top of the grasses in the hay fields are lit up by the setting sun.

Processed in Capture One 12. Used two luminosity layers to bring out the shadows in the foreground and reduce the brightness in the sky. Further processing in Color Efex Pro 4 using the graduated neutral density and pro contrast filters.
