Waning Crescent Moon & Venus before Sunrise
This picture, taken about twenty minutes before sunrise on 1st July, shows the thin waning crescent Moon disappearing into glow from the Sun with Venus a long way below near the horizon. The glare there was so bright that its appearance had to be enhanced using a star filter.
