Last Quarter Moon
At 6 am on Tuesday 25th of June the Last Quarter Moon, 50 percent illuminated with an almost perfectly straight terminator, was directly overhead in a dark sky. The accompanying four frame mosaic compiled from a still image and video recorded from pre-dawn until daylight show the beginning of its slow descent towards the south west.
