Moon Saturn Conjunction

A close conjunction of the Waning Gibbous Moon with Saturn was visible in very clear dawn sky above Mutare on 19th June. Although Mutare was at the eastern end of the occultation path (along which the Moon obscured Saturn) this could not be observed here because the sky became too bright for Saturn to remain visible closer to the Moon than in the second photograph.
