Midair at high altitudes, between:- clear blue skies above and miles of white, thick , wispy heaped clouds below, with no sight of water or land below them. Passing over North Africa.
Various patches looked liked they had cut-out roads and in-roads in between the thick cream slice-able miles of them. Mind says they should be cirrocumulus clouds, if not altocumulus, But a better informed source informed, when I later asked, that they are more like altostratus, instead.
There was no indications, to me, of impending rains or storms. Did I guess that wrong?
