From a pull-out on NC215 just below the Blue Ridge Parkway the blue hour sky shows Venus and the crescent moon together just above Courthouse Ridge. The well-known Devil's Courthouse rises prominently on the left with Silvermine Bald beyond. Uranus was visible as well just before this picture was captured but the moon and Venus were at the time obscured by the clouds on the horizon.
