This ones for you Ski,
cropped sunspot at 100% resolution. Sharpness and contrast boosted to enhance detail. Smaller structures didn't "pop" until increasing sharpening radius in unsharp mask. Time lapse of shifting sunspot, but unable to upload here. This photo was mid time lapse, on the afternoon of the 14th. I was in the "eye" of the high altitude winds swirling about, so the air was relatively peaceful all the way up to space. Ventusky webpage can show you winds and clouds at different altitudes. Helps a lot when trying to decide whether to spend the time going for a great view.
