The moon was incredibly bright tonight in a clear sky so I decided to try to get a picture of Pikes Peak by moonlight. We have a lot of great views of Pikes Peak around town but most views are ruined at night by bright lights. This view is from about a mile away from downtown. It was bitter cold with a brisk wind, which is why the illuminated flag looks so strange.
