Lots of optical phenomena tonight. Classic Lunar Corona, caused by moonlight diffracting thru water droplets in the clouds. The size of the corona depends on the size of the water drops. Not to be confused with the Lunar Halo, which has a radius of 22° due to REFRACTION of moonlight thru hexagonal ice crystals. There will be a quiz next Wednesday.
