I called my husband to look at the cloud formations in the north and there was all this colour. It didn't last very long, maybe 5 minutes before it started to fade. I rang a friend while I was snapping shots, she lives about 1km west of us and had no colour at all. This was taken standing on my open verandah, the clouds had this amazing blurring before the colour was noticed.
