As my wife came out of the house to pick up the mail last night, this beautiful young moon appeared between the branches of a live oak tree. There were black clouds moving in from the Everglades and if you use your imagination it also seems like a blackhole was ready to swallow the young moon. Earthshine is also visible. We live in Broward County at the edge of the Everglades so our skies at night are mostly clear of pollution. Picture was taken by Olga Argudin.
