Went out to Fort Griffin Historic Park, near Albany, Texas to take some early morning photos of the Milky Way yesterday evening. Just after sunset, was taking some photos as the stars came into view and noticed the wedge (cone) of light coming from the West and realized it was the Zodiacal light, sometimes seen from dark locations in early spring, after sunset or early fall just before sunrise.
Fujifilm X-T2, Samyang 12mm f/2 lens. ISO 3200, f/2 shutter 25 sec.
