I had been planning to take pictures at Eleven Mile Canyon State Park to get the Moon and Venus closer to the horizon, but when I got there I found the valley totally fogged in and had to turn around and backtrack to Mueller State Park where, thankfully, the Moon and Venus were just getting over the ridge of Pikes Peak.
Nikon D750 with Nikon 28-300 full frame zoom lens at f9; ISO 500 for 2 seconds
