Doctor says I cannot lift a heavy telescope right now and for a couple of weeks, nothing over 10 lbs. But I was allowed to put my itsy bitsy 66mm Vixen refractor on the sun, this morning for a look at Sunspot AR2736, on the solar disk. There were a lot of clouds here in Sedona, but they gave me a break for a bit. Sunspot AR2736, is huge many times larger than the Earth making it the largest sunspot in years! Sunspot AR2736, is active and growing so if you have the right stuff I suggest you check it out! Here it is seen in my photo at about the 2:00 o'clock position. Remember this is how it looks through a 66mm refractor!
