great read, thanks! one of those topics that never loses its mysterious charm and scientific importance ...
(took it as 'good omen' btw as it also coincided with the Persian New Year ...) :-)
my imperfect yet still usable-enough shot of the last night's full super moon seen through a think layer of clouds ...
(there were magnificent huge fluffy clouds in the north-west moving east all through the afternoon and sunset until before moon-rise + a few thunderstorms in the distance too ...)

lots of details here almost impossible to explain except for this is a composite image made of 2 photos superimposed over each other in order to be able to catch both the moon as well as the clouds without having the moo overexposed and washed out ...
