Lighted Log

Shot taken in Popham beach state park in Maine, USA. This park is a 3 hour drive from my home in Hudson. I started from home at 11:00 PM to reach in time for the rising Milkyway. After my eyes got adjusted to the dark, I could see the band of the Milkyway with the naked eye. Once I set my camera to take the exposures, I just lied down on the beach with the camera bag as my pillow to look up at the stars. It was one hell of a sight. I remembered the great Stephen Hawking saying "Remember to look up at the Stars and not down at your feet!"
