I was at Eckerd College Thursday evening to conduct a telescope viewing for an Earth Science class, and before we started, I noticed the very thin eyelash-thin crescent moon low in the western sky as the sky was darkening. I had my scope all set up, so I put it on the moon and took some images through the eyepiece with my phone.
