Another Image from my Feb. 12, Gaspereau lake ice series. Sheets and plates of ice broken up by wind and warm temperatures, stacked and piled by wind and refrozen as temperatures dropped. Rocks near the shoreline may have been a factor in the break up of the ice. This ice is all totally frozen and smooth despite appearances.
