The moon travels trough the colors of sunrises and sunsets on Earth during a total lunar eclipse. These subtle colors are easy to see in a small telescope, but very difficult to capture in an image. The original of this HDR time lapse composite is a 120 MegaPixel image. Five frames were taken from 2 minute interval images captured for a 4K UHD video of the entire eclipse that I am making.
