I have never tried to photograph the moon through a telescope so gave it a try. I photographed from start to finish. I tried timing the shadow's movement over some major craters but the edge of the shadow seems very objective to me. Visually I judged the eclipse to be Danjon 3 much as seen in the picture.

Canon 77D with 2 inch adapter on Explore Scientific 127ED f7.5 refractor telescope mounted on Orion Atlas Pro AzEQ-G mount in EQ mode. Exposure 1.6 seconds at ISO 400, raw file format

LightRoom 6 DNG, 0.7 stop increase in exposure, slight increast in contrast, black, white and illuminance, exported as jpg
