The forecast for Sunday's lunar eclipse says we'll be clouded out here in Montana. So here's a total lunar eclipse from April 15th, 2014, photographed from my front yard in northwestern Montana. This is a 3-hour sequence, left to right. Starting with the full moon, every fifteen minutes I took two exposures, one for the moon's sunlit side and one for the moon's shadowed side. The center moon is fully within Earth's shadow. I arranged the images into an infinity loop on the computer.
